Can I Host a Website on my Cloud server and are there any restrictions?

Yes, but We offer this as an Optional, not every project requires a website. If you wish to host a website, you will receive a control panel access and other essential packages just like our Webhosting plans. Remember Our WebHosting is “containerized”.
We allow a maximum of 20 Websites, Unlimited Email Boxes, and Unlimited Subdomains for the smallest Happy package, and on bigger configurations by default you can host up to 100 Websites and yes you always upgrade the number of Websites for more. Please contact Sales for a Quote. Always remember there is no such thing as unlimited, more installations will overwhelm your system. Always perform capacity management considering process utilization, and future traffic growth.

Can I host separate Applications?

Yes, Our “Cloud Hosting” is meant not only for Webhosting, unlike other vendors. And as mentioned before You receive admin Sudo access and can manage your server and install any applications.

Under Managed Services offerings, We help you maintain your system backup, which contains your OS configuration files. We also allocate FREE 20 GB disk space for local Website backups but DO NOT cover other Applications you might host. If you wish to backup your Data, extra Website data, and manage offsite backup you can connect with Sales for the best value package. We can help you with the configurations.

Do I get a free CDN for my website under this package?

For “Cloud Hosting” packages, you will have to buy an extra package for CDN services or you can choose your own vendor of your choice. Please get in touch with Sales/Support for further queries and or if you need any technical assistance

What storage does a Cloud server come with?

All our plans come with NvMe SSD storage, so rest assured that you will get the best IO performance all the time. SSDs are faster, more reliable, and offer superior read/write speed; in turn, they handle more traffic than traditional spinning hard drives.

How much bandwidth comes with a Cloud Server hosting plan?

The maximum bandwidth for inbound traffic sent to your Compute Instance is about 40 Gbps and bandwidth for outbound traffic is upwards of 4 Gbps at our endpoints. All plans come with upwards of 4 TB of data transfer per month. The smallest configuration starts at a monthly transfer rate of 4 TB, while the largest could reach several terabytes.

I have a Litespeed / Nginx Webserver License, can I use it?

Yes, of course, just raise a ticket and we will help you with it.

Do you provide Support to Mozilla Hubs CE?

We offer you the tool to make installations easy and will help with OS and Kubernetes-related support, Mozilla Hubs CE is an open source and for any functional issues, you are advised to connect with the Mozilla Hubs Vibrant community.

Can We also Host Web Hosting on the Hubs CE Server?

Although we don’t recommend and support it, you can host any application including HTTP if you wish with some port changes. Our Web hosting plans are not compatible together with Hubs which is hosted on Kubernetes. You can procure another Cloud server with a Web Hosting Plan for the best experience.

What kind of Console and feature are bundled?

Mozilla Hubs has its admin console and We provide you with a “sudo” Linux account. You can make any changes using sudo root privileges and administer your host. The server also comes with an in-built firewall capability that protects your instance from Malicious IPs which blocks all kinds of traffic from such IPs. The instance also comes with failed SSH login jails for all IPS that get blocked temporarily for a limited time if there is a failed malicious login attempt consecutively. The server is also configured with auditing and accounting services.

How Standard and Premium Plans are different?

All our servers are pretty fast and Premium plans boast an overall fast experience.

I exceed my allotted bandwidth, How much do I pay?

Additional transfer usage that exceeds this monthly allotment starts at $0.005/GB (or $5/TB) depending on the service’s region. The subsequent invoice will incorporate any additional data transfer usage accrued throughout the month. Please note that all inbound traffic is free and will not count against your quota.

When do I pay and How am charged?

We charge you in advance and consolidate your invoices in the next billing cycle. You pay with your saved payment method or using the credits available.

Does pricing differ for servers in different regions?

Currently, all packages in all regions except Brazil and Indonesia are priced the same. We also try to keep the pricing of offerings are same but it’s possible for minor changes without prior intimation.

Can I buy more disk space?

Yes, absolutely. You can always buy extra disk space ie Block storage on our Store and you can always scale up to fit your growing needs. There is no limit to it. We can also assist you in setting it up on your server, for FREE.

How much does an additional block storage volume cost, and What are the performance metrics?

Block Storage Volumes start at $0.10/GB per month and can range from 10GB to 10,000GB in size. The price for Block may vary between data centers. Also, built-in redundancy maximizes availability and reduces the possibility of data loss.
You get throughput up to 350 MB/s (sustained) and 525 MB/s in 60-second bursts.
Expect constant IOPS of Up to 8,000 sustained and 12,000 in 60-second bursts.

That’s more than other Hyperscalers and way cheaper.

Can I upgrade my Hosting to a higher plan?

You can always upgrade your server and your plan to all possible options.

Can I Downgrade my Hosting to a higher plan?

Yes, of course, You can also downgrade your server and your plan, but remember, it may not always be feasible if you have more data or large and heavy workloads if you are moving to a smaller disk capacity or compute. But we will always guide you so you make the best decision suitable to your situation. Reach out to us via support tickets.

The server was shut down for a few days, does it save money?

This is a tailored managed service. Our charges are on resource allocation on your plan and We charge you monthly regardless your server is up or not running.
